You’ll want to decide what your budget for flooring is as well as the durability and look you are going for. This will help you decide on the right materials to go with which will, in turn, help you finish your project feeling completely satisfied with the overall look. Let’s take a closer look at five different options that we have in store at Freeman Liquidators right now.

Interestingly enough, Engineered flooring is a mix between hardwood floor and plywood. It offers easy cleaning and durability because it is made with multiple layers of wood stacked in different directions. This helps ensure that the wood doesn’t warp or bow from any moisture in the ground. The hardwood veneer allows for a fresh and clean hardwood floor look, that a normal, solid hardwood floor would.

Freeman Liquidators has four different colored floors to choose from when it comes to the engineered floor type. We have an Ash Cherry, Hickory, Coral Embers Cherry, and Light Mocha Hickory that would all make beautiful flooring in your home remodel project.

Hardwood flooring is the most popular floor type because of its timeless look and how easy it is to clean compared to other floors or carpets. Many people choose hardwood floors throughout their entire home, instead of using carpet, to add a flow throughout each room.

At Freeman Liquidators, we have eight different Hardwood floors to choose from. Some colors include Cabin Grade Pine, Cabin Grade White Oak, Cabin Grade Hickory, Cabin Grade Red Oak, and Grade A Pine.

Laminate flooring is ideal for those looking for a cheaper alternative to the hardwood floor, and for those who aren’t looking for as durable of a floor. It’s designed using wood, resin, fiberboard, and polymer. The great thing about laminate is that it does come in several colors that mimic the look of a hardwood floor, and they usually come as a click-together floating installation. This makes it super easy to lay flooring if you are trying to do remodel on your own. The downside of laminate flooring is that it can’t be repaired. If there is an issue that arises with your flooring, you’ll have to replace it. The floor is best to be used in areas with minimal moisture build-up; places such as your living room rather than your bathroom or kitchen.

LVT Flooring, also known as Luxury Vinyl Tile, is a floor designed to look like real wood and stone and is easy to create authentic looks rather than just your typical hardwood floor pattern. It is usually available in several shapes, sizes, and effects, to help with that authentic remodel look you may be going for. LVT is great for those looking for a durable floor that will withstand normal wear and tear. It is actually more durable than real wood, stone, or ceramic tile. If you are remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, this floor may be just the thing for you. It is designed to be a quick and easy installation process and is able to withstand high humidity and water exposure, unlike some other floor types previously mentioned.
