Caterpillar's 456-8496 hydraulic hose has a 31.8MM inner diameter and is expertly designed to channel liquids and gases through machinery. Made from top-quality materials, this hose can withstand specific pressures, vibrations, and flow requirements for heavy-duty equipment. It has undergone rigorous testing, ensuring maximum safety and reliability. The Cat XT ES hose series is built by Caterpillar for high-pressure hydraulic applications, ranging from 2500 to 6000 psi (17.5 to 42.0 MPa). Its enhanced spiral construction, designed and tested to twice the industry standards, sets it apart from other hoses. This Caterpillar hose also has a smaller bend radius compared to SAE standards, enabling easier application in various settings. Its structure consists of a fabric-reinforced synthetic rubber tube, four to six layers of high-tensile steel wire reinforcement, and an outer layer of synthetic rubber that resists oil, weather, and abrasion.
