Cummins Onan 2500i LP Generator

The Cummins, Onan, LP, Generator, 2.5HGLAA-8304A (USED UNIT) utilizes inverter technology to provide improved power, fuel efficiency, and reduced noise levels compared to previous models. This unit, which replaces older models such as the Onan Microlite 2500 and 2.5HGJBB-1121, features a 40% increase in oil capacity and a new permanent magnet alternator. Additionally, it meets both US EPA and California CARB emissions standards.

Operating Characteristics 

This generator uses inverter technology which allows for variable engine speeds based on load. High loads increase speed while low power use decreases it, saving fuel and reducing noise. The enclosure includes a catalytic muffler for additional noise reduction, and a three-point mounting system isolates vibration for a quieter and smoother operation. Its noise output ranges from below 59 dBA at no load to 65 dBA at full load, making it the quietest in its class.

It meets noise standards set by the National Park Service and features a USDA Forest Service-approved spark arrestor that requires no maintenance.
